Family Nurse Practitioner

DarNesha Clanton is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who is deeply committed to compassionate, comprehensive care. A proud military child, she was born in Texarkana, Texas, and grew up in Germany and Oklahoma before settling in Georgia. Living in multiple states and abroad exposed her to many cultures and communities. These experiences shaped her passion for serving patients from all backgrounds with empathy and respect.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Aiken and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. With over 10 years of experience in labor and delivery and public health, she has dedicated her career to women’s health. To further specialize, she completed her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner training at the University of South Alabama.
For the past four years, DarNesha has called Midlothian home. She lives there with her husband, four children, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, sightseeing, trying new restaurants, and attending sporting events around the DFW area. Family time is at the heart of everything she does and is what ultimately brought her back to Texas.
DarNesha is especially passionate about adolescent sexual health, STD prevention, and caring for women at every stage of life. She believes in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and heard. To better serve Texas’ diverse population, she is actively learning Spanish to communicate more effectively with Spanish-speaking patients. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care to every woman she serves.
