DarNesha Clanton is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a military child, born in Texarkana, Texas, but raised in Germany and Oklahoma. She spent the majority of her teen & adult years in Georgia, where she started her nursing career. Her upbringing exposed her to diverse cultures and experiences, shaping her passion for healthcare. She earned her B.S.N  from the University of South Carolina Aiken and later obtained her M.S.N as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. With over 10 years of experience in labor and delivery & public health, she has dedicated her career to women’s health. Her deep passion for the field has led her to pursue further specialization as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama.

For the past four years, she has called Midlothian home, where she lives with her husband, four children, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, sightseeing, trying new restaurants, and attending sporting events in the DFW area. Family time remains at the heart of everything she does. It was family that brought her back to her home state of Texas.

She is deeply committed to adolescent sexual health, STD prevention, and providing comprehensive care for women at all stages of life. Recognizing the needs of Texas’ diverse population, she is actively learning Spanish to better serve and communicate with the state’s large Spanish-speaking community.
