April Stewart

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

April is Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who has joined Dr. Jeffery Morgan's team. In collaboration with Dr. Morgan, she provides comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology care, including contraception, prenatal care, annual exams, preventive care, and providing education to adolescents and women of all ages. She has sixteen years of experience working in women's healthcare.

April was born and raised in Attalla, Alabama. After High School, she attended Gadsden State Community College in Alabama, where she received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree in 2003. April then moved to Virginia and enrolled at Norfolk State University to further her nursing education. In 2006 she and earned her BSN degree in Nursing. In 2018 she received a Master’s Degree in Nursing, with a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner focus from the University of South Alabama. 

In 2011, her husband, Marcus, received new Navy orders, which relocated them from Virginia to the DFW area. Before joining Dr. Morgan, she held a Supervisor position at the Medical Center of Arlington in Labor and Delivery. 

In her spare time, April enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching and attending football games. She resides in Mansfield with her family.
